Genetics

MGM have an ongoing genetics program with a vision to differentiate with novel products featuring African Cannabis genetics. The company is currently focusing on cultivating genetics based on demand in the market.

GMP Program

Our GACP cultivation facility is capable of producing up to 100kg per month. The headhouse of the facility is geared towards processing including the drying, trimming, packing and storage of medical cannabis.

Organic Program

The Organic Program consists of a 1Ha shade facility allowing the Company to produce up to 2tonnes of Cannabis Biomass or flower per annum. The biomass is ideal for extract purposes of less regulated market segments such as CBD & CBG for cosmetics and veterinary applications.

MGM is situated in Ha Shepeseli, Butha Buthe, Lesotho. We are committed to the community around us and creating opportunities for
Basotho as a whole. MGM has made a significant impact in terms of job creation and skills transfer since it began operations in 2017.

Employees

MGM has 35 employees and employed over 40 community members in temporary positions while building the site. We also have 5 permanent security guards provided by a local security company. Most of the permanent and temporary staff have worked for MGM since we broke ground in 2017.

Job Creation

Job Creation has been a fundamental social and operational focus. Labour has often been favoured over mechanisation in order to maximise benefit to our local community. Our hands on approach has allowed us to train staff into a highly proficient core team with know how and ability.

Training Program

MGM provide weekly training for all staff members focusing on developing staff with the requisite skills associated with the quality control, cultivation and security associated with the production of Medical Cannabis. In field training has also been key in expanding knowledge, procedures and has equipped staff with an in depth understanding of Cannabis cultivation.

Local Procurement

MGM place emphasis on local procurement, supporting small businesses in our community and Lesotho as a whole. The cannabis industry promotes many ancillary opportunities for entrepreneurs such as the supply of building materials, agricultural implements and PPE. MGM also utilise local laboratory, logistic and security services from 3^rd parties.
